Everyday Muslim · Prayer & Quran widgets
Prayer times widgets, right where you look.
Keep the next prayer, its countdown or today’s timetable on your Home Screen. Everyday Muslim also offers tracker, Quran, dua and daily reminder widgets on supported devices.
- Home Screen widgets
- Supported Lock Screens
- Prayer tracking shortcuts
Choose a widget that answers your question
Use a next-prayer widget when you want the prayer name, time and countdown. Choose a timetable widget when seeing all five prayer times together is more useful. Tracker widgets can show daily status, streaks and weekly progress.
Additional widgets include Quran and dua last-read shortcuts, a daily name of Allah and daily wisdom. The layouts offered depend on the installed app and operating system; check your widget picker for the current selection.
Add a Home Screen widget
On Android, touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, open Widgets and find Everyday Muslim. Drag the widget you want into place. Launcher wording and resizing controls can vary.
On iPhone, touch and hold the Home Screen until the icons move, choose Edit and Add Widget, then search for Everyday Muslim. Pick an available size and add it. Open the app first if a newly installed widget has not received your settings.
Use the Lock Screen and interactive controls where supported
On iPhone with iOS 16 or later, touch and hold the Lock Screen, choose Customize, then Lock Screen and Add Widgets. Everyday Muslim offers compact widgets for supported layouts.
Prayer marking is available from Android tracker widgets and the large iOS Daily Status widget on iOS 17 or later. Individual widget color or photo appearances also require iOS 17 or later. Android Lock Screen support depends on the device and launcher; not every Android phone supports it.
If the widget looks stale
Open Everyday Muslim and confirm the location and calculation settings. Then check that the correct widget is selected and that your device allows the background behavior it needs. Widgets refresh under operating-system control and are not a substitute for testing adhan reminders.
For a continuous in-app clock and countdown, try StandBy mode. Its full-screen display serves a different purpose from a Home Screen widget.
